It's not at all annoying that you ask for help and advice. As one of the earlier members of Shutterchance, I can tell you that's what this site is all about. By analysing and commenting on other people's work, we learn or remind ouselves what we, too, should be doing, so ask away.

While I'm a strong advocate of looking for additional opportunities when photographing landscapes, this zoom doesn't quite work for me. I think your viewpoint has placed the two key elements - the attractive old building and the volcano - in line where they would work better if they were offset a little more. The vegetation in the foreground, while essential in wide angle shots as a lead in, are in this case distracting. For compressed perspective that you get from zooming in, composition is key.

For these reasons, my vote goes to the wide angle shot that I think works better overall.
